On the first day of our tour, we depart from Istanbul Airport at 08:05 on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. After approximately 4 hours of travel, we land at London Gatwick Airport at 09:10 local time. Following passport and baggage procedures, we begin exploring London directly.
During our panoramic city tour, we view many important landmarks from the outside, including Buckingham Palace, one of England's most iconic structures; Hyde Park, famous for its lush greenery; and Big Ben, a symbol of the country. Along with the guide's commentary, we form our first impressions of the city. We take a short break at Trafalgar Square to rest and have lunch. After the city tour, we transfer to our hotel, free time.
In the evening, we will offer an optional Soho & Chinatown Evening Tour for interested guests (45£).
On this tour, you will experience London's liveliest, most colorful, and tastiest evening experience. Departing from our hotel in the late afternoon, we head towards the Soho & Chinatown area, the heart of London's nightlife. After a short and comfortable journey by public transport, we begin to explore this special area, which takes on a completely different atmosphere from daytime.
Soho, one of London's most energetic spots, comes alive in the evenings. Lights, crowds, music, and movement… The moment you arrive here, you feel more clearly why London is one of the world's most important cities.
We start our walk through Soho's characteristic streets. In this area filled with small theaters, live music venues, boutique bars, and restaurants, you encounter a different atmosphere at every step. Accompanied by our guide, we listen to the story of the region while witnessing its real life beyond London's classic tourist face. Continuing our walk, we move to Chinatown, one of London's most striking areas. Streets decorated with red lanterns, restaurants serving the finest examples of Asian cuisine, and a completely different cultural atmosphere… The moment you step into this area, you might feel as if you have left London. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to our hotel and spend the night there.
After breakfast, we embark on a full-day optional Grand London Tour for those guests who wish to join. (140 £)
We begin our packed tour, which will allow us to discover both the historical and modern faces of London. Our first stop is the City of London area, known as the financial center of the city. Despite being surrounded by skyscrapers today, this region, with its deep roots dating back to the Roman era, has managed to preserve its historic character.
We start our walking tour at St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of the oldest and most important religious buildings in the city. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this impressive cathedral is one of the most iconic structures in the London skyline, especially due to its massive dome.
Continuing our tour, we view the Tower of London, one of London’s symbols, from a panoramic perspective. Built in the 11th century, this structure has served throughout history as a palace, prison, and treasury. We take a photo break at Tower Bridge, located right next to it, which has become one of the symbols of modern London.
Continuing our city tour, we take a lunch break at Borough Market, one of the most popular stops for street food in London, completing the first half of the day.
After finishing our City of London tour, we move on to the City of Westminster area, the political and royal center of London. Our first stop here is Buckingham Palace, one of the most important symbols of the British monarchy.
Later in the tour, we will see the Palace of Westminster, considered the political heart of England, and Big Ben, located right next to it.
During our walking tour, we also get a panoramic view of Westminster Abbey. This historic building, where royal coronations have taken place, is one of the most significant sites in English history.
In the final part of our tour, we have free time at Covent Garden, one of London’s liveliest squares. Guests who wish may explore the surrounding shops, spend time in cafes, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the city.
After meeting at the designated time, we return to our hotel, marking the end of our tour.
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for a full-day optional Oxford & Bicester Village tour (£140) with guests who wish to join. Oxford, one of England’s oldest academic cities, is our first stop.
During the walking tour guided by our tour leader, iconic landmarks such as the Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library (one of the world’s oldest libraries), St Mary the Virgin Church with its elegant architecture, and Christ Church College (which also served as a filming location for the Harry Potter movies) are viewed from the outside. The enchanting atmosphere of Oxford is enjoyed through pleasant walks in this historic setting. After the guide’s commentary, during the short free time provided, interested guests may explore the city on their own.
Following our visit to Oxford, we take a approximately 30-minute journey to Bicester Village Outlet Center, one of England’s most popular shopping destinations. Here, guests have the opportunity to shop for products from world-renowned luxury brands at outlet prices and spend their time relaxing. The spacious open-air shopping area offers a highly enjoyable environment for both shopping and leisure.
At the end of the day, we return to London with shopping bags and beautiful memories. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we join an optional tour to Cambridge for those guests who wish. (120 £)
During our journey, which will last approximately 1.5 hours, our guide will provide information about England’s education system, university culture, and the history of Cambridge.
Upon arrival in Cambridge, we begin our walking tour and first visit King’s College, one of the city’s most important landmarks. Founded in 1441 by King Henry VI, this historic building is particularly notable for its magnificent King’s College Chapel. As our tour continues, we have the opportunity to view other important colleges affiliated with the University of Cambridge from a panoramic perspective. During this time, we share interesting facts about world-renowned scientists such as Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, and Stephen Hawking having studied at this university.
During our walking tour, we proceed along the River Cam, which flows through the city, discovering some of Cambridge’s most impressive views. For guests who wish, there is also the option to join a boat tour known as “punting,” which is very popular in the area (extra). After our tour, we allow free time in the city center. During this period, guests can spend time in charming cafes, explore small boutique shops, or experience the university atmosphere on their own.
We reunite at the designated meeting time and begin our return journey to London. Depending on traffic conditions, we arrive at our hotel in the evening and conclude our tour.
After breakfast at the hotel, we complete our check-out procedures. Following our early breakfast, we return to Istanbul at 10:55 AM via Turkish Airlines flight. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport at 5:55 PM, our tour comes to an end. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip!
